Chemotactic aggregation and traveling wave phenomenon in starvation driven diffusion
The Keller-Segel equation has been used as the model for both chemotactic aggregation and traveling wave phenomenon. In the context of starvation driven diffusion we will see only the traveling wave phenomenon can be explained, i.e., the two phenomena are distinct from the view point. It is shown that the aggregation phenomenon can be obtained in an extended version of starvation driven diffusion.
