Proportionality of stationary solutions of nonlinear systems of PDE
We study a class of systems of nonlinear elliptic equations which include a class of Lotka-Volterra models, some models from the theory of Bose-Einstein condensates, and models of chemical reactions, possibly with inhomogeneous or controlled diffusions. We introduce a method for proving proportionality of components of the system set in an unbounded domain, thus reducing it to a single equation, and obtain results of solvability in bounded domains.
